Fuel supply to power plants rises 38%

TEHRAN – The head of National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company (NIOPDC) says the company has supplied 38 percent more liquid fuel to the country’s power plants since the beginning of the current Iranian calendar year (March 20) compared to the previous year’s same period.

According to Keramat Veis-Karami, over 9.7 billion liters of liquid fuel has been supplied to power plants in the seven months past from the current year, Shana reported.

The official estimated the fuel supply to the country’s power plants to reach nearly 20 billion liters by the end of the current Iranian year (late March 2025).
